More Lovely Scents

I was passing through the cosmetics section inside Nordies last weekend with my seeeester, when we came across this scent... Of course my seeester made us some bootleg samples of it.  hehehe....

I like it alot!  Very floral and feminine. It's kinda light for me so I may use it in the spring/summer time...

MY FACE...

will be starting a new skincare product. "New" as in new to my face not necessarily new to the cosmetic world.  After some research, I decided that I wanted to take a break from the ridiculously expensive SK-II skincare products that I have been using for quite sometime now, and go with a more moderately priced Korean brand Iope (by Amore Pacific).  This is the line I chose...

IOPE Plant Stem Cell Skin Renewal Softener $38

IOPE Plant Stem Cell Skin Renewal Emulsion $40

The links above take you to an online Asian beauty store called Evecare.com.  I personally bought my products at the beauty section of my local HMart for the same price they are selling it at Evecare.

The price is reasonable especially for the amount of product you get.  For example, the emulsion (moisturizer) is a whopping 4.4 oz for only $40.  Regular department store moisturizers will run you $40+ for only 1.7 oz of product.  The Iope Plant Stem Cell Renewal Emulsion costs about  $15.45 for 1.7 oz, so it's a killer deal!

I'm currently finishing up the last of my old products.  I'll let ya'll know how I feel about this product as soon as I start using it!

NEW from La Mer

La Mer 1 oz $150, 2 oz $275
According to the La Mer website:

BENEFITS:
Luxuriously light formula penetrates deeply to replenish moisture and improve strength and radiance.

This luxurious cream delivers the same radiance and renewal that made the original Crème de la Mer a legend in a supple new texture. Infused with the nutrient-rich Miracle Broth™, the heart of La Mer's profound powers of transformation, it penetrates deeply to replenish moisture and strengthen skin. Renewed and energized, skin looks youthfully radiant.

I haven't tried it yet, but I'm assuming that it's lighter than the Creme de la Mer but heavier than the Cream Gel.  I also noticed that there is a slight difference in the directions.  When applying the soft cream, the directions don't tell you to warm it up in your fingers like the others do.  Interesting...
